Plains to Peaks Regional Network Regional Network Coordinating Organization (RNCO) -Regions 7 & 8

BACKGROUND


The Plains to Peaks Regional Network is a group of ten states representing: Montana, North Dakota, Wyoming, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Utah, Colorado, Kansas, and Missouri.  The purpose of the network is to coordinate peer-to-peer knowledge sharing and learning for state injury prevention workforce and their key partners.


GOALS


Goal 1: Increase coordination and collaboration in the Plains to Peaks Regional Network through the provision of learning opportunities aimed to advance violence and injury prevention best practices in program implementation by July 31, 2021.

Goal 2: Increase coordination and collaboration among all states in the Plains to Peaks Regional Network (regardless of funding status) in sharing scientific evidence and programmatic best practices related to violence and injury prevention, by July 31, 2021.
